The Perikatan Nasional chairman said last night there were still five days left to campaign before voters cast their ballots on Saturday.
“With five days to go, how can he make such a claim? Even I can make such a claim. But we will leave it to the voters to decide,” he said at a ceramah here.
Earlier, citing analysts, Anwar said PH was leading in the election campaign. He claimed PH will win in Pasir Salak, Taiping and Tambun in Perak as well as Padang Serai in Kedah. Anwar is contesting in Tambun.
But Muhyiddin said such chest-beating showed that Anwar only cared about positions.
“But not me. For me, it is what I can offer the nation,” said the Bersatu president.
He said at least 80% of Malay voters were backing PN. “God willing, PN will form the next government.”
