
PUTRAJAYA: The Election Commission (EC) said the Batu parliamentary seat will witness a 10-cornered fight, the highest for a parliamentary seat.
At a press conference, EC chairman Abdul Ghani Salleh also said the contest for the Chenderiang state seat in Perak and the Bugaya state seat in Sabah would see seven-cornered fights.
Ghani said six nomination papers for four parliamentary seats and two state seats were rejected.
He said more details would be revealed later tonight.
Malaysians will go to the polls for the 15th general election on Nov 19, with early voting set for Nov 15.
