Nik Abduh, the former PAS Youth chief is the son of the Islamic party’s late spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat.
Another big name who was dropped was former Tumpat MP Che Abdullah Mat Nawi.
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s political secretary Syahir Che Sulaiman will contest the Bachok seat while Mumtaz Md Nawi will contest the Tumpat seat.
PN Kelantan will also field Bersatu Youth chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal for the Machang parliamentary seat.

- Pasir Mas – Ahmad Fadhli Shaari
- Rantau Panjang – Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff
- Kubang Kerian– Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man
- Bachok – Syahir Che Sulaiman
- Ketereh – Khlir Mohd Nor
- Tanah Merah – Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz
- Pasir Puteh – Nik Muhammad Zawawi Salleh
- Machang – Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal
- Jeli – Zahari Kechik
- Kuala Krai – Abdul Latiff Abdul Rahman
- Gua Musang – Azizi Abu Naim
Meanwhile, Bersatu is contesting five seats.
Apart from Wan Fayhsal, Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz will be defending his Tanah Merah parliamentary seat which he won under the Barisan Nasional ticket prior to defecting to Bersatu.
The remaining three candidates are Khlir Mohd Nor (Ketereh), Zahari Kechik (Jeli) and Azizi Abu Naim (Gua Musang).
Earlier, former Jeli MP Mustapa Mohamed said he would not be defending his seat due to health reasons.
