SANDAKAN: Barisan Nasional (BN) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will see an almost 50-50 ratio in the distribution of parliamentary seats for the upcoming 15th general election (GE15), says Sabah BN liaison committee chairman Bung Moktar Radin.
He said while the list of candidates for BN and GRS have yet to be finalised, there will be no clash between the two coalitions in any of the 25 parliamentary seats.
“So, it’s a win-win for us (BN and GRS).”
Speaking after opening the Kinabatangan Umno delegates’ meeting here, he said 80% of the BN candidates will be new faces.
Bung Moktar, who is also Sabah deputy chief minister, said Sabah BN and GRS will announce their candidates simultaneously in Kota Kinabalu soon.
GRS comprises Perikatan Nasional (PN) and PBS, and it leads the state government together with BN.
