
PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested eight people after a brawl at an entertainment outlet near Jalan Tun Razak left two wounded and one dead early this morning.
Wangsa Maju police chief Ashari Abdul Samah said six men and two women were arrested after police received information that three men were admitted at a private hospital with severe injuries at 5.35am.
“Investigations revealed that the victim and his friends had brawled with a group of men of African descent,” he said.
Ashari noted that the victim had a stab wound at the back of his neck and died while receiving treatment at the hospital.
All eight suspects were taken to Wangsa Maju police station for further action. The investigation is being carried out as a murder case.
