
Ebit, 37, is facing 11 charges, including for insulting the modesty of a 41-year-old woman by sending her text messages containing lewd words between March and June last year.
He was charged under Section 509 of the Penal Code, which provides for a jail term of up to five years or a fine, or both, upon conviction.
Magistrate Nur Asyraf Zolhani will hear the case. The prosecution will be conducted by deputy public prosecutors Azreen Yas Ramli and Adibah Saiful Bahari.
Lawyers Ram Singh, Kamarudin Chinki, Timothy Daut, Kimberly Ye Wanchuin and Chen Wen Jye will represent Ebit.
In February, Ebit pleaded not guilty to the 11 charges and was released on bail of RM1,000 for each charge in two sureties.
