KENINGAU: A healthy baby girl was found on the road in Jalan Kampung Korikot, Tambunan, near here past midnight last night and has been sent to hospital, police said.
District police chief Nor Rafidah Kasim said the baby was found by a member of the public at 1.05am. A police report was lodged at 2.38 am.
“The baby was wrapped in white cloth with floral patterns. She was sent to Tambunan Hospital for examination and further treatment,” Nor Rafidah said in a statement today.
The baby is in stable condition and is still receiving treatment at the hospital.
