
“We already have the list of candidates and the constituencies we intend to contest in. We have already submitted it to PN’s Supreme Council,” he said today.
He said the party was now making its final preparations for the general election.
Lau said if there are clashes between PN’s component parties during seat negotiations, the matter would be discussed by the PN Supreme Council.
Should the negotiations remain unresolved, he said, PN’s presidential council would then decide as it had the final say on candidates.
Lau urged Gerakan’s members to accept the party’s choice of candidates and put their full support behind them.
He added that as a non-ethnic-based party, Gerakan would fight for the rights and interests of all Malaysians.
Gerakan is part of PN, alongside Bersatu, PAS and Sabah-based parties STAR and SAPP.
