A regular Magnum customer for over 20 years, she said that the winning numbers, 9933 and 6190, were selected randomly based on her intuition.

“I always buy numbers based on receipts, signboards, ringgit notes, serial numbers and random car numbers, but what helps me to decide whether to purchase these numbers is when it comes into my mind repetitively,” she said in a statement released by Magnum.

The lucky winner did not believe she had won RM13.59 million until her daughter scanned her Magnum 4D jackpot tickets to confirm the results.

“Initially, I thought I only won the 2nd prize, but when I checked, I realised that the number 6190 that I purchased also came out as the 3rd prize number. This was when I realised that I had won the jackpot!” she said.

The homemaker is planning to share her winnings with her family members and pay for her grandchildren’s educational expenses.

“I also believe in doing good deeds as I have always been helping those in need. I will donate some of the money for charitable projects as a contribution to society,” she added.
