KUALA LUMPUR:
The finance ministry (MoF) is inviting all parties to give feedback in its public survey related to the targeted subsidy programme.

In a statement today, the ministry said the survey could be downloaded at the website.

“MoF welcomes feedback for this public survey to be completed and submitted on or before Aug 30,” it said.

The ministry said the survey was to ensure that subsidies provided by the government could fully benefit the target group.

“This public survey is also a new approach of the MoF, in a series of public consultation papers (PCP), to make the annual budget preparation process more transparent and involve all parties.”

Besides that, it said, the government was confident that the publication of the PCP would provide more opportunities for stakeholders to give their feedback and enable the government to formulate an annual budget that meets the needs of the people and is in line with the country’s socio-economic development policy.
