SHAH ALAM:
Police have yet to find any fresh leads in the disappearance of former newscaster Zalina Shaharah Azman.

Shah Alam police chief Iqbal Ibrahim said police had inspected Zalina’s house three times but did not find new clues.

“The last inspection was done at the house of the missing person on July 28,” he said when contacted.

Iqbal said the police canine unit and the Forensic Division (D10) from the Selangor police headquarters were also involved in the investigation.

According to media reports, the phone belonging to the 58-year-old, popularly known as Zalina Azman, was last active on Nov 20 last year, four days before her son tried to call her.

The police received a report about her disappearance from her son, Mikhael Norman, 33, on Nov 29 last year. He had tried to contact Zalina since Nov 24 to inform her that her father had been admitted to hospital, but she could not be reached.
