PETALING JAYA: A family of four died after their car crashed into a lorry near Simpang Roban in Saratok, Sarawak, this morning.
The victims were a couple, aged 30 and 28, and their children, aged four and one.
A spokesman for the Sarawak fire and rescue department said firemen, who rushed to the scene after an emergency call was received at 6.53am, found the family trapped in their car.
Berita Harian quoted the firemen as saying they had died at the scene.
The driver of the lorry escaped unhurt.
