KUALA LUMPUR:
Former national athlete Zulkifli Mohd Yatim died of nose cancer at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital today. He was 59.

“The widow confirmed Zulkifli’s death when contacted today. Let us all pray that his soul will be placed among the true believers,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.

Zulkifli is survived by two daughters, aged 18 and 28.
