Thunderstorms in Klang Valley until 1pm

Bad weather is predicted for the whole of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Melaka.

The meteorological department says thunderstorms with rainfall intensity exceeding 20mm/hour are likely over the next few hours.
PETALING JAYA:
The meteorological department has issued a warning of thunderstorms and heavy rain across the Klang Valley.

The warning, issued at 9.55am today, said the bad weather was expected to last until 1pm, with the whole of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya affected.

The entire state of Melaka and several areas in Negeri Sembilan (Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau) are also expected to experience these weather conditions.

The department said there were indicators of thunderstorms with rainfall intensity exceeding 20mm/hour over the next few hours.

Clear skies are expected in other parts of the nation, at least for the next few hours.
