KUALA LUMPUR: A mother and her son were found dead at a house in Kampung Baru Kundang in Rawang, Selangor, yesterday.
Gombak district police chief Zainal Mohamed Mohamed said police received a report at about 10.15am that the duo had been found hanged in the house.
He said preliminary investigations showed that the woman, aged 71, and her son, 35, were local residents.
“There were no signs of a break-in and all personal effects like cash and mobile phones were in the house,” he said in a statement.
The bodies were sent to the forensics unit at Sungai Buloh Hospital, and the cases classified as sudden death, he said.
