
According to an Utusan Malaysia report, Hadi said the party will look to continue to strengthening the unity among Muslims.
PAS is a component party in the Bersatu-led Perikatan Nasional (PN). Though PAS is also part of the Muafakat Nasional (MN) alliance with Umno, ties between the two parties have become strained.

“PAS has its own group and we will continue focusing on Muslim unity.
“We do not want to join the ‘big tent’ because there are rats, cats and so on,” he told reporters at an event in Marang, Terengganu.
His comments come in the wake of PAS election director Sanusi Md Nor’s remarks that the party would stay out of PH’s “big tent”, a term used to describe the move to unite all opposition parties against Barisan Nasional (BN) in the next general election (GE15).
Some PH leaders, including PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution and Amanah deputy president Salahuddin Ayub, previously said that PH should be open to discussions with any party ahead of GE15.
