SINGAPORE:
Bus and taxi services across the Causeway will resume from May 1, the Singapore government announced today.

The announcement was made by the co-chairman of a Covid-19 task force, Gan Kim Yong.

The Land Transport Authority said the bus services were: routes 160, 170 and 170X by SBS Transit, route 950 by SMRT Buses, and routes TS1, TS3, TS6 and TS8 by Transtar Travel.

These bus services have not been operating since March 2020 when the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic began.

The operating hours of the SBS services would be from 5.20am to 12.30am as before, the authority said.

On cross-border taxi services, LTA commuters travelling to Johor could board a taxi at the Queen Street taxi terminus or book one through taxi companies with licensed cross-border taxi drivers.

The current vaccinated travel bus services by Transtar Travel and Handal Indah would be ended.
