
The death toll stands at 35,381.
According to the ministry’s GitHub database, there were 10,413 new cases, compared with 10,052 a day before. They comprised 10,386 local cases and 27 imported cases.
There were five brought-in-dead (BID) cases.
Johor, Kedah and Perak reported three deaths each, followed by Negeri Sembilan and Pahang with two each, and Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor and Terengganu and Putrajaya with one each.
There were no deaths in Kelantan, Melaka, Perlis, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Labuan.
As of midnight, there were 117,785 active cases, with 2,411 people hospitalised. Of this, 154 were in intensive care units (ICU), with 89 requiring respiratory assistance.
There were also 13,202 recoveries recorded.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia stands at 4,363,024.
