In February, Ebit, whose real name is Ebit Irawan Ibrahim Lew, was slapped with 11 charges of sexual harassment at a court in Tenom, Sabah.
He was initially investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code, Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, and Section 23 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 following reports by several individuals alleging that he had committed sexual harassment.
Jalil had then revealed the alleged offences took place between March and July last year.
