Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia (PPIM) chairman Nadzim Johan said this was necessary, in the wake of questions raised by the victim’s family and their lawyer.
The girl, Nour Rania Asyifaa Yuseri is believed to have died after getting her head entangled in a cloth cradle at the childcare centre on Feb 22.

Previously, Seremban police chief Nanda Maarof was reported to have said that Rania was found unconscious in a room at the centre, with her head hanging from the cloth cradle and the rest of her body in the cradle.
Three days ago, Rania’s father, Yuseri Yusoff lodged a police report on the lack of progress over the case some 37 days after her death.
The family’s lawyer also questioned why the police did not seek any remand order for the caretaker.
“We want this case probed until the people have no more doubts over this case. Right now, many people have their doubts and this could erode trust in the authorities.”
Nanda previously told FMT that the investigation paper was submitted to the deputy public prosecutor for further action. However, he declined to make any further comment on the investigation.
