KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 1,323,892 children aged five to 11, or 37.3% of those in the age group, have received their first dose of the vaccine under the national Covid-19 immunisation programme for children.
Based on the CovidNow website, 2,851,056 aged 12 to 17, or 91.6% in the age group, have been fully vaccinated, while 2,947,622 or 94.7% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, 15,758,429 individuals, or 67% of the adult population, have received a booster dose. A total of 22,952,209 individuals or 97.6% have received two doses, while 23,228,125 or 98.8% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
