PETALING JAYA:
The probe into former Malaysian Bar president Lim Chee Wee for allegedly tarnishing the judiciary has been classified as “no further action” (NFA).

This was confirmed in a letter to Sepang police chief Wan Kamarul Azan Wan Yusoff from the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

The letter, sighted by FMT, states that the case is to be classified as NFA. Lim’s lawyer, Ragunath Kesavan, also confirmed receipt of the letter from the police.

Last June, it was reported that Lim was being investigated under Section 500/504 of the Penal Code for criminal defamation, provoking a breach of the peace, as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for improper use of network facilities or network service.
