PETALING JAYA: The health ministry reported 65 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, down from 73 previously.
The death toll stands at 34,600.
According to the ministry’s GitHub database, there were 22,491 new cases, compared with 21,483 the day before.
Selangor reported the most number of fatalities with 12, followed by Perak (11), Johor (10), Melaka and Pahang (5 each), Kedah (4), Negeri Sembilan, Sabah, Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur (3 each), Penang (2) and Kelantan, Perlis, Terengganu and Labuan (1 each).
There were no deaths in Putrajaya.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia stands at 4,054,926.
