She confirmed this in a statement posted on her Twitter account.

“I apologise for any inconvenience caused and request that anyone who interacted with me in the last 48 hours to undergo a Covid-19 screening,” she said.

Azalina, who is also a human rights adviser to Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, had earlier taken an RT-PCR test before today’s meeting in the Dewan Rakyat.

Covid-19 screenings are mandatory for all parliamentarians and their aides when attending Parliament.
