
PETALING JAYA: At least three people are believed to have been buried in a landslide at Taman Bukit Permai 2, near Ampang Jaya, this afternoon.
The Selangor fire and rescue department told FMT that 15 houses and 10 vehicles were involved in the incident that occurred at 5.30pm.
“Fire and rescue department personnel arrived at the scene at 6pm. According to eyewitnesses, there were victims involved.”
The department said that based on preliminary information, three victims were believed to have been buried.
The body of the first victim was brought out from the rubble at 6.58pm.
Two houses were reported to have been badly damaged while the others were partially affected.
