Sahruddin will contest the Bukit Kepong seat.
PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin today announced the list of candidates that will contest in all 56 seats for the March 12 polls.
Bersatu associate deputy chief Chong Fat Full is among the coalition’s candidates and will be contesting in Tangkak. Chong won the Pemanis seat as a PKR candidate in the last general election (GE14).
Meanwhile, Tosrin Jarvanthi is set to defend his Bukit Permai seat.
The seat distribution among PN’s three component parties is Bersatu with 33, PAS (15) and Gerakan (8).
Muhyiddin called for all the candidates to keep the interest of the people at heart and to fight against corruption and abuse of power.
“The candidates we have chosen are worthy but they must remember the virtues of good governance and accountability,” he said.
“They must be committed to eradicating corruption and abuse of power.”
