According to Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, there are currently 11 Malaysians in Ukraine.

“I was informed that there are 23 Malaysians registered with our embassy in Kiev, but 12 of them have since returned to Malaysia.

“Our priority is to ensure all Malaysians in Ukraine are safe,” he said in a Tweet.

Ismail added that Malaysia hoped the conflict between Ukraine and Russia would soon be resolved peacefully.
