PETALING JAYA: A boy, aged about 5, fell to his death from the 10th floor of the Cheras General Operations Force quarters today.
He was pronounced dead at 9.45am at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM (formerly known as HUKM).
Kajang police are investigating the case under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001 for negligence.
Police have asked anyone with information on the incident to contact investigation officer Mohd Faeez Norzah at 013 2773407.
“The public is also urged not to neglect their young children to avoid unwanted incidents,” it said in a statement.
