
Of the total, one was classified as brought-in-dead (BID). The death toll now stands at 31,952.
Most of the fatalities were recorded in Johor and Perak with three deaths each, followed by Pahang (2), Sabah (2), Melaka (1) and Selangor (1).
There were no deaths reported in Kedah, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Penang, Sarawak, Terengganu, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan dan Putrajaya.
As of midnight, there were 50,030 active cases including 127 in intensive care units (ICU), 70 of whom require respiratory assistance.
There were also 3,285 recoveries reported.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia stands at 2,855,930.
