Cops probe sexual harassment report against Johor rep

Johor cops are investigating a report lodged against a state assembly member who is alleged to have sexually harassed a 26-year-old woman.

The report was lodged at Kota Tinggi police station this morning, district police chief Hussin Zamora said. He received the report at 11.30am, Bernama reported.

“Yes, we have received the report. The case is under investigation,” he said. However, he declined to elaborate on the matter.

An image of the police report has been widely circulated on social media.

The victim, who is believed to be a member of a political party in Johor, claimed that the state assembly member had sexually harassed her on many occasions.
