PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating a viral video showing two men assaulting a third person, believed to be a foreigner, at the Wira Jaya Setapak Condominium in Kuala Lumpur.
The video, posted on Dec 10 on a Facebook page, has since gone viral.
In a statement, Wangsa Maju district police chief Ashari Abu Samah said the case was being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code.
Section 323 relates to voluntarily causing harm to others and is punishable with an imprisonment up to one year or with a fine of up to RM2,000 or both upon conviction.
Ashari also urged the public not to share the video.
