
Of the total, 10 were classified as brought-in-dead (BID). The death toll now stands at 30,831.
Most of the fatalities were recorded in Johor with eight deaths, followed by Sabah (6), Terengganu (5), Pahang (4), Penang (4), Selangor (4), Sarawak (3), Kedah (2), Kelantan (2), Negeri Sembilan (2), Perak (2), Kuala Lumpur (1) and Melaka (1).
There were no deaths reported in Perlis, Labuan and Putrajaya.
As of midnight, there were 60,873 active cases including 393 in intensive care units (ICU), 212 of whom require respiratory assistance.
There were also 4,997 recoveries reported.
The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malaysia stands at 2,683,523.
