PSB’s Iana Akam, who is standing in the Serembu seat, said the Dayak people needed someone with grit and courage to uphold the voice of Sarawakians and the marginalised.
“There is no better time for all Dayaks to come together and unite to push for a chief minister that possesses all the right qualities to lead Sarawak.
“It is time to pass the baton back to the Dayak people and allow them a chance to lead Sarawak back to greatness,” she said in a statement today.
Iana was commenting on PSB president Wong Soon Koh saying the party would endorse a Dayak chief minister candidate.
She also said Sarawak’s indigenous people were deprived in various areas, such as education and economy.
She urged Sarawakians to put their trust in PSB in order to make way for a formidable Dayak chief minister to lead the state.
Sarawak goes to the polls on Dec 18, with early voting taking place on Dec 14.
