PSB to contest 70 out of 82 seats in Sarawak

Sri Aman MP Masir Kujat will also be contesting this time for the Balai Ringin state seat.

KUCHING:
Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) will be contesting in 70 of the 82 state seats up for grabs in the upcoming Sarawak elections, the opposition party announced today.

A number of incumbents will be defending their seats, including party president Wong Soon Koh as well as former PKR duo Baru Bian and See Chee How.

Sri Aman MP Masir Kujat will also be contesting this time around, for the Balai Ringin seat.

Ranum Mina, the Opar incumbent, will also be defending his seat, while former federal deputy minister Joseph Entulu Belaun is contesting for the Tamin seat. Joseph was a three-term Tamin assemblyman from 1991 to 2006.

Former Lubok Antu MP William Nyallau Badak will be contesting the Batang Air seat, while Engkilili incumbent Johnical Rayong Ngipa is seeking to retain the seat.

PSB is also fielding former state assistant minister Sylvester Entri Muran in the Marudi seat.

Sarawak goes to the polls on Dec 18, with nominations taking place tomorrow and early voting slated for Dec 14.
