KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 22,689,471 people, or 96.9% of the adult population, have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.
Based on the health ministry’s CovidNow portal, 98.3%, or 23,028,508 adults, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
In addition, 89.7% or 2,822,370 adolescents aged between 12 and 17 have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 86.1%, or 2,709,263, are fully vaccinated.
A total of 135,914 doses were dispensed yesterday, with 4,703 as first dose, 8,313 as second dose and 122,898 as booster dose.
The number of booster doses administered to date is 2,457,510.
