PETALING JAYA: Sixty-five students at Sekolah Seri Puteri Cyberjaya have tested positive for Covid-19.
This is the first time a boarding school has reported this many cases, according to a Twitter post by education minister Mohd Radzi Jidin’s communications team, which added that the minister visited the school when the news broke out.
The affected students were in Form 1 and 2.
Schools began reopening after lockdowns were eased from Oct 3 and the country’s adolescents aged between 12 and 17 completing their Covid-19 vaccinations as of Nov 19.
