It is the first time such an event is taking place in Malaysia, and with an educational approach, as 5G is not just a generational step but also a way to bridge the digital divide between urban cities and rural areas.
With the theme “Digital Economy Recovery Through 5G”, the event which is being held from Nov 30 to Dec 1, 2021 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, will be available both in-person and online.
5G TECH 2021 will bring together key experts across the 5G landscape, including technology, transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, education, telecommunication, financial services, aviation, ports, automation, agriculture, gaming, energy and utility, media and entertainment, and more.
It has attracted more than 1,000 senior representatives from across the 5G ecosystem and more than 60 outstanding and well-known speakers.
Notable speakers include Technology Park Malaysia Corporation CEO Dzuleira Abu Bakar, Scotland 5G Centre chairman Julie Snell, Microsoft Malaysia national technology officer Dr Dzaharudin Mansor, and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) CEO Mahadhir Aziz.
Participants can look forward to several interesting topics at 5G TECH 2021, such as the impact of 5G on healthcare, building networks through collaboration, industry trends, monetising 5G, and many more.
Meanwhile, CT Event Asia managing director Bangaly Camara said the aim of the event was to look at issues of importance in the development of the 5G network in the wider region.
