PETALING JAYA:
Fully inoculated teenagers will be allowed to enjoy the same benefits accorded to adults who have completed their vaccinations from the middle of next month, the prime minister said.

“However, it will not be implemented immediately. There will be a grace period of three weeks for teens,” Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in a statement this evening.

To date, some 2,524,156 teenagers have received their first dose.

Ismail also said that Terengganu and Johor will move into Phase 4 of the national recovery plan from Oct 25 onwards.

Currently, fully vaccinated adults are allowed to dine in, return to places of worship, travel interstate and overseas as well as entering cinemas.

They can also visit businesses such as hair salons, car wash centres as well as clothing and accessories stores.
