Transport minister Wee Ka Siong said the event would be held on one weekend in November to be announced by ERL on its social media platforms.
“When the time comes, bring along your family members and friends, and support our nation’s recovery,” Wee said during a launch event on KLIA Ekspres’ Facebook Live page.
ERL also launched its upgraded KLIA Ekspres app, which allows customers to buy tickets easily and find better deals.
It also launched its EkspreSmiles loyalty programme, which rewards customers with points for every successful booking which they can redeem for discounts on future purchases.
“With the advances in technology over the years, we need to improve our customers’ purchase and travel experience by providing them better features and value, and rewarding them through our new EkspreSmiles programme,” ERL chief executive officer Noormah Mohd Noor said.
“With the easing of travel restrictions from this week, more people can now travel for business, work and leisure, so we hope the launch is timely to get the public to travel by public transport again.”
