EMCO extended at 3 localities in Pahang

The National Security Council says it is also ending the enhanced movement control order in six localities - three in Pahang and three in Sabah - today.

The EMCOs were originally slated to end tomorrow.
PETALING JAYA:
The enhanced movement control order (EMCO) at three localities in Pahang will be extended from Oct 10 to Oct 23.

In a statement, National Security Council (MKN) director-general Rodzi Md Saad said the areas are Pos Sinderut as well as the Orang Asli villages in Pos Lenjang and Pos Titom – all of which are in Lipis.

This is the second time that the EMCO at Pos Sinderut has been extended. It was first placed under EMCO on Sept 12.

The EMCOs were originally slated to end tomorrow.

In addition, two Orang Asli villages in Temerloh, Pahang, will see their lockdowns end today. They are Kampung Pasu and Kampung Penderas.

Rodzi also said the EMCO at the Jalan Karak flats, which is also in Temerloh, will end today as scheduled.

Similarly, the EMCO at three localities in Sabah – Kampung Tinongian and Kampung Karagasan in Ranau, and Bornion Timber base camp in Keningau – will also end today as scheduled.
