Village in Kuala Krai, Kelantan, to go under EMCO

The enhanced movement control order there will last until Oct 19.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at several localities in Sabah and Pahang will end on Oct 5.
PETALING JAYA:
A part of Kampung Pasir Kelang at the Mengkebang subdistrict in Kuala Krai, Kelantan will go under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) for two weeks, said the National Security Council (MKN) today.

The EMCO will last until Oct 19. There has been a surge in Covid-19 cases in the area.

Lockdowns at the RMDC Sdn Bhd palm oil factory and plantation at Bukit Koman, Raub, Pahang will extend until Oct 19.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at several localities in Sabah and Pahang will end on Oct 5. This includes Kampung Garib in Matunggong, Kudat, Sabah.

In Pahang, the areas are: Kampung Dusun Pak Senam at the Ulu Jelai subdistrict in Lipis, and also Felda Rentam, Felda Tementi and Felda Sebertak in Bera.
