Beginning today, the Klang Valley and Melaka have entered the penultimate phase of the recovery plan, joining Perlis, Pahang, Terengganu and Sarawak, and bringing with it new relaxations to Covid-19 control measures.
Negeri Sembilan and Labuan are the only states in Phase 4.
Dine-in activities in Phases 1 and 2 come under the section of the official SOPs for the fully vaccinated.
However, this is not the case under Phase 3 rules, with customers allowed to dine in regardless of vaccination status as long as physical distancing measures are in place.
However, eating-in for the purpose of a “social gathering” is still not allowed. Permitted operating hours remain from 6am to midnight.
These rules apply to restaurants, eateries in hotels, clubhouses at sports facilities, food stalls, food trucks, roadside hawkers, food courts, hawker centres and kiosks.
Bars and nightclubs are still not allowed to operate in Phase 3.
