Localities in Pahang and Perak under EMCO

These areas will be placed under EMCO from Sept 29 until Oct 12.

PETALING JAYA:
Several localities in Pahang and Perak will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Sept 29 until Oct 12 to curb the spread of Covid-19.

In a statement today, national security council (MKN) director-general Rodzi Md Saad said Felda Rentam, Felda Tementi and Felda Sebertak in Bera, Pahang, would be placed under an EMCO.

Four Orang Asli villages in Seri Makmur, Tanjung Rambutan, Kinta, Perak will also be placed under a similar restriction. The villages are Kampung Bakok, Kampung Jambu, Kampung Lalang and Kampung Dollah.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at several localities in Pahang, Perak and Sabah will end tomorrow.

In Pahang, the localities are Kampung Temalian, Ulu Dong subdistrict in Raub and Kampung Paya Pelong in Kerdau, Temerloh.

In Perak, the EMCO at Kampung Orang Asli Ganggai in Mualim will end tomorrow, earlier than scheduled.

In Sabah, the EMCO at Kampung Rugading in Kota Marudu, Fu Yee factory in Kalabakan and two localities in Kota Kinabalu, namely Kampung Warisan and Rumah Pangsa Tanjung Aru will also be ending tomorrow.
