More localities in Sabah and Pahang under EMCO

PETALING JAYA:
Several localities in Sabah and Pahang will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) to curb the spread of Covid-19 from Sept 26 until Oct 9.

In a statement today, National Security Council (MKN) director-general Rodzi Md Saad said Kampung Tinongian and Kampung Karagasan in Ranau, Sabah will be placed under EMCO.

In Keningau, Bornion Timber Sdn Bhd’s base camp, Batu 46, Tulid, will be placed under EMCO as well.

In Pahang, Orang Asli villages in Pos Lenjang and Pos Titom in Lipis will be placed under a similar restriction.

Rumah Pangsa Jalan Karak in Mentakab will also be placed under EMCO.

Rodzi added that the EMCO at several localities in Pahang will be extended until Oct 9. The localities are Kampung Pasu and Kampung Penderas in Temerloh and Pos Sinderut in Lipis.

Meanwhile, the EMCO at several localities in Pahang, Perak and Sabah will end tomorrow as scheduled.

The localities are Felda Keratong in Rompin, Pahang, Kampung Ulu Groh in Kampar, Perak and Kampung Kopungit in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
