PETALING JAYA: Several localities in Pahang and Sabah will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) to curb the spread of Covid-19.
In a statement today, national security council (MKN) director-general Rodzi Md Saad said two localities in Pahang will be placed under EMCO from Sept 22 until Oct 5.
The localities in Pahang are Kampung Baru Cenderawasih in Pekan and RDMC Sdn Bhd oil palm plantation and factory in Raub.
In Sabah, Felda Umas 6 farm housing in Kalabakan will be placed under a similar restriction from Sept 23 until Oct 6.
Rodzi added that EMCO in two localities in Sabah will end tomorrow as scheduled.
The localities are Kampung Sugjang Baru in Tenom and Kampung Rapak in Ranau.
