More localities in Pahang and Sabah under EMCO from Sept 20

The EMCO in several localities in Sabah, Kedah and Perak will end tomorrow as scheduled.

The EMCO will affect several villages in Lembah Bertam in Cameron Highlands in Pahang as well as a locality in Kota Belud,  Sabah.
PETALING JAYA:
Several localities in Pahang and Sabah will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Sept 20 until Oct 3 to curb the spread of Covid-19.

In a statement today, National Security Council (MKN) director-general Rodzi Md Saad said three localities in Lembah Bertam in Ulu Telom sub-district, Cameron Highlands, Pahang, will be placed under EMCO.

These involve Kampung Sungai Kabuk, Kampung Sungai Tiang and Kampung Sungai Chohong.

In Sabah, Kampung Tamu Darat in Kota Belud will be placed under a similar movement restriction.

Rodzi added that the EMCO in several localities in Sabah, Kedah and Perak will end tomorrow as scheduled.

The localities are the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) in Kota Kinabalu, two zones in the Kuala Kedah sub-district in Kota Setar, Kedah, and the Tapah Prison (including the quarters) in Perak.
