
This confirms that the whole of Klang Valley will be under Phase 2. Kedah and Johor will be the only states to remain under Phase 1.
He also announced that Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya would be combined as one zone.
“Thus, movement between these areas will be allowed and there will be no more roadblocks,” he said.
Cross-district travel is also allowed for individuals who have been fully vaccinated, while married couples who are staying apart and are fully vaccinated are also now allowed to cross states to visit each other.
Dine-in is allowed at food premises for customers who have been fully vaccinated, while parents who are fully vaccinated are also allowed to cross states to visit their children under the age of 18.
Ismail also said tourism activities, involving stays in hotels and homestays, are also allowed within the state for those who are fully vaccinated.
For states under Phase 1, flower shops, nurseries, outdoor equipment shops and sales galleries will be allowed to operate from Friday.
Meanwhile for states under Phase 2 and Phase 3, barber shops, hairdressers and beauty salon activities will also be allowed to operate fully from Friday.
