PETALING JAYA: A 13-year-old boy was among 17 people nabbed by police in a raid on a drug-fuelled party at a luxury residence in Kuala Lumpur late last night.
Kuala Lumpur criminal investigation department chief Sahar Abd Latif said police found ecstasy and ketamine during the midnight raid on the residence in Jalan Sultan Ismail.
In a statement, Sahar said eight men and nine women, aged between 13 and 54, were detained.
Preliminary investigations found that the party was organised by a 23-year-old woman to celebrate her birthday.
The case is being investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342).
