PETALING JAYA:
Only fully vaccinated visitors will be allowed to enter shopping malls operated by Sunway in the Klang Valley from Sept 15, its management announced today.

In a Facebook post, Sunway Malls said this was part of its goal to create a safer community for everyone, adding that the move would be implemented at Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Velocity, Sunway Putra and Sunway Giza.

However, exemptions will be given to certain categories of individuals who do not qualify to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

“We want to ensure all our visitors are well taken care of while following all relevant SOPs. Let’s do our part to not only get vaccinated but also to take care of one another,” it said.

For those given two-dose vaccines, such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Sinovac, they can only enter the mall 14 days after their second dose.

Meanwhile, for those given a single-dose vaccine, like CanSino or Johnson & Johnson, they may only enter the premises 28 days after their jab.
