PETALING JAYA: A total of 58% or 13,580,934 of the adult population have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday, said the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV).
In an infographic on Twitter, the committee said 79.6% or 18,631,593 individuals have also received their first dose.
A total of 420,164 doses were administered yesterday, with 155,004 being the first dose and 265,160 the second dose.
It brings the cumulative number of vaccinations administered through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 32,212,527 doses.
Labuan continued to record the highest vaccination rate with 92.6% or 63,416 individuals having completed two doses.
This was followed by the Klang Valley with 86% (5,301,004), Sarawak 85.7% (1,750,717), and Negeri Sembilan 73.4% (597,832).
The states with the lowest vaccination rates were Sabah at 32.5% (897,704) and Kelantan 39.2% (484,845).
